Cooking Time : 90 Minute
Ingredients
Chocolate Cake Sponge
200 gms All-purpose Flour
28 gms Cocoa Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
200 gms Caster Sugar
120 ml Vegetable Oil
240 ml Boiling Water
1 tsp Instant Coffee Powder
1 tbsp Vinegar
Chocolate Ganache
300 gms Dark Couverture Chocolate
150 gms Amul Fresh Cream
Instructions
Sieve All-purpose Flour, salt, Cocoa Powde & Baking Soda in a Bowl.
Now Add Sugar, Vegetable Oil & Instant Coffee Powder.
Atlast add Boiling Water and give everything a good mix. Do not Overmix.
Now add the Batter in previously greased, two 6 inch Baking Tins (Round).
Grease the baking tin with oil first & then dust with some All-purpose Flour. You can use parchment paper too.
Bake them Immediately at 180 degrees in Preheated Oven for 25 Mins.
Check With toothpick if done and then let it rest for 5 mins on Kitchen Counter.
Then Demould the sponges and let them come to Room Temp. Once they are cooled cling wrap them and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
For ganache pour hot fresh cream over chopped chocolate and let it rest for 10 mins. Mix until everything is combined and cling wrap it until further use.
Once cake is chilled divide each sponge in 2 parts.
Now assemble the Cake with ganache and sprinkle some gold lustre mixed with cooking oil on it for decoration.
Chill for at least an hour before consuming.
