Creamy Afghani Chicken

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ kg Chicken
  • 15 Cashews
  • 4 tbsp Yogurt
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tsp Chat Masala Powder
  • 2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 4 tbsp Fresh Cream
  • 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi Leaves (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)
  • 2 tbsp Oil

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Take cashews and yogurt in a blender and puree till smooth.
  • Take all ingredients except oil in a bowl and mix well. Let it marinate for 2 hours.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add in chicken pieces and fry till golden brown.
  • Now add in remaining to marinate into the pan, add some water.
  • Cover and cook on low heat for 15 to 20 mins.
  • Serve.
