Ingredients

  • 1 large diced,blanched carrot
  • 100 gm blanched peas
  • 200 gm boiled,peeled,mashed potato
  • 2 inches grated ginger
  • 3 1/2 tablespoon roasted gram flour (besan)
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala powder
  • 100 gm diced,blanched bean green
  • 50 gm blanched cauliflower
  • 2 finely chopped green chilli
  • 2 tablespoon roasted cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered spice cardamom

For The Main Dish

  • 1/2 cup refined oil

Instructions

  • Step 1
  • Blanch all the vegetables, except the potatoes and process them together coarsely in a blender place in a piece of muslin and squeeze gently to remove excess water.
  • Step 2
  • Mash the boiled potatoes and mix together with the processed vegetables.
  • Step 3
  • Add the green chilies, ginger, roasted gram powder, roasted cumin powder, cardamom powder, chaat masala and salt.
  • Step 4
  • Add the rest to the vegetable mixture and mix well adjust seasoning. Shape the mixture into small patties.
  • Step 5
  • Heat the oil in kadahi and deep fry the patties till golden brown remove and drain on absorbent paper.
